Red Day Residency

School Residency of Character, Caring, and Community

With his "Red Day" residencies, Red Grammer brings his irresistible messages of love and hope to school communities across America.  Red's amazing ability to highlight the best in everyone makes a "Red Day" a powerful affirmation of everything that's right with a school.  A "Red Day" reverberates in school hallways and in the hearts of students, families, and staff long after Red is gone.

Components of a Red Day:

Informances: Red meets with the children (usually two grades levels at a time) in "question and answer" sessions during which Red has an opportunity to explore the process of discovering and nurturing our gifts and discuss the various virtues (perseverance, determination, courage, patience) and emotions (excitement, frustration, fear, satisfaction) involved. The informance is also a chance for classes to share with Red any special activities they have done with his songs or to sing with him a song of his that they have learned.

School Concert (daytime): Red performs a 45-minute concert featuring the songs that have most captured the imagination and hearts of the school community.

Family Concert (evening): The children and their families come back for a family concert with Red. The quality and range of the talents of this nationally acclaimed entertainer makes this a very special experience. The children get to perform their special songs with Red and the parents themselves get drawn into the powerful, positive experience of the day.
